Time zones and schedules
Okay, I realized there are a couple issues that we should straighten out, and I'm making this thread for that purpose.
Issue #1: Time zone differences
I don't know where everyone else is, but as is probably known, I'm in California and generally stay there, so I will always be in the Pacific time zone, AKA "UTC-8". I certainly don't expect everyone to give their specific location, but offering up your time zone will certainly be helpful.
Issue #2: Scheduling
If you have a regular daily schedule that you can share, that would also be nice to know. Mine is currently very irregular, so I'm not sure what to say other than the fact that I tend to stay up late from time to time (sometimes until 3 a.m.) so that might make communication with people in some time zones work better.
It would also be useful to be aware of any long-term schedule issues coming up. I have a couple trips I'm taking in January, meaning I'll be on the road the 18th and the 23rd (and possibly another day, but not sure), and again on the 25th and the 29th. During the second trip, I will probably be too busy to do much, but that remains to be seen.

German master race reporting in (I should be more careful with these kind of jokes...).
UTC+1
Let's see: Basically I'm available between 5pm and 10 or 11pm weekdays. It's more difficult to define the time I'm available on weekends though, since there's often other stuff as well I need to take care of. But I'm almost always available between 5pm and midnight, sometimes even longer...

Re: Time zones and schedules
My schedule is UTC-8.
I'll be free from about 4:00pm to about 1:00am on weekdays, and almost 24-hour on weekends. Time varies depending on my status. If I'm tired, I might not go on as much, or if I'm quite awake, I might go on longer.

Re: Time zones and schedules
UTC -6 up in here... CST FTW!
My daily schedule's not too erratic- Weekdays (when I'm not working, and save for Wednesday), I have school til two, then I'll be free til around eleven. Weekends, I'm free from around noon to midnight...

Re: Time zones and schedules
I'm in UTC-8 also.
My schedule is theoretically open from about 11 or 12pm to 1 or 2 am. BUT, this is subject to change without notice, as well as to randomly-scheduled hours-long absences - so don't take it for granted.
I am also going to be travelling (within the PST time zone) in the 3rd week of February, but I still might be able to check in in the later hours.

I'm in the Central time zone
My schedule for being on:
weekdays I'm normally on from 8-9:30am and 1:15-2pm during the school day and then after school from 6-10pm. This all depends on the amount of school work and whether or not I have to go to work or anything of that nature.

I am central. I can be in from 6 to 9 on a weekday, 2 to 9 on a weekend.

Re: Time zones and schedules
Okay, I'm going to be updating the chart as more info comes in (and remember don't worry too much, as it's only a tentative schedule and I don't think anyone is going to hold you to it) and re-post it later when it seems to be more complete. I expect a few more players will give us some general outline of their availability.
Also, I am going to make a weekend one, so if you didn't give me info on that, but it does vary, it would be good to know.

Re: Time zones and schedules
I'm online most of the day, not much is stopping me from posting at any time I want. However my time zone is GMT+12
That might complicate things a but as I am often here posting when everyone else is already heading to bed.

I'm still here, but not for long. Just felt like proving you wrong there.Blue Screen wrote:I'm online most of the day, not much is stopping me from posting at any time I want. However my time zone is GMT+12

Damn you, unintended reverse psychology.

Because the UK doesn't have a UTC offset, you can figure out what time it is here without a problem... Err, say it's 17:00 in the UK. I live in CST, so my UTC offset is -6. 17-6=11, so it'd be 11:00 here... Easy, right?

Re: Time zones and schedules
If you give me your approximate location, figuring out the time difference is easy; I have it programmed into the chart. I do need your available times, though. (In YOUR time zone.)

Re: Time zones and schedules
Sorry about not giving timezones/being on KYM/yadda yadda yadda. Internet went kaput.
Anyways, my time zone is Newfoundland Standard (if I'm correct, that's -3:30 GMT or so, correct me if I am wrong).

Usually GMT-5. No specific free time, as I take minutes to browse the internet, doing it in multiple sections.

Re: Time zones and schedules
And as for when I'm on, well... it varies. I try to get on when I can but I'm usually guaranteed to be on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It all depends.
Though I do find myself on the Web on weekdays, most of the time I don't stay for long.
